The Moonark project will be in residence from January 16-January 25, 2019 at The Centre Pompidou in Paris, France.

Mark Rooker (BFA, Graphic Design 1992, MFA, Graphic Design 1999, MFA, Metal 2000) has been a designer on the Moonarts project from the beginning. The duplicate objects and documentation are a museum installation that will be traveling the world. The main project will be part of the Astrobotics moon landing set for 2020.

Mark’s art work is in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian Institution and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. He works in metals, wood, and most recently glass. His work spans in scale and form from micro-level, adornment, sculpture, and soon large works. He collaborates with well-known musicians such as composer and percussionist Casey Cangelosi.
