Alumnus John Jennings Receives NAACP Award

Alumnus John Jennings and UIUC Illustrator/Writer/Faculty Member Damian Duffy won a NAACP award in Outstanding Literary Work – Graphic Novel. “Parable of the Talents: A Graphic Novel Adaptation” – Octavia E. Butler, adapted by Damien Duffy, Illustrated by John Jennings, and David Brame (Abrams ComicArts). This is in addition to their Hugo, Bram Stoker, and Eisner Awards for previous works.
