Clinical Assistant Professor
Chiara Vincenzi is an Italian fashion designer and educator. She graduated in industrial design from the University IUAV in Venice, Italy, and continued her professional studies in fashion design at the Istituti Callegari and Accademia del Lusso in Treviso, Italy. She received an MA in Fashion Retail and Luxury Management at the London College of Contemporary Arts, London.
Before moving to the United States, she worked as a fashion designer, product designer, and graphic designer at multiple world-class fashion companies in Italy. After moving to the United States, she worked as a designer consultant for fashion start-ups, focusing her work on the development of sustainable and ethical apparel lines.
In 2017 she started teaching fashion illustration at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, working as an adjunct instructor in studio arts. She is currently expanding the fashion curriculum, adding new courses in fashion and textiles design and sustainable fashion development and branding.
