Jena Marble
Jena Marble is a graphic designer, art director, and educator. Her research focuses on generative artificial intelligence and graphic design, exploring how GenAI can reshape creative processes and influence the future of the design industry. Named one of GDUSA’s 2025 People to Watch, her design practice is informed by experience across industry, academia, and government.

Field notes from the design classroom
My ongoing research looks at how generative AI is being used in the graphic design classroom and how students are responding to these changing ways of making. Through classroom experiments, student work, and conversations with students, I’m interested in what AI makes possible, the questions it raises, and how it is shaping the way we teach and learn design.
