Jorge Lucero Hosts Marathon Zoomposium
Thirty-nine scholars, teachers, and artists will deliver eight-minute essays, which will then be published. In addition to host Associate Professor Jorge Lucero, participants include members of the university community; high school, middle school, and elementary school teachers; museum educators; and artists. U of I participants are graduate students Paulina Camacho Valencia, Catalina Hernandez-Cabal, Kaleb Ostraff, and Allison Rowe and faculty member Guen Montgomery.
The participants are from Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, and Utah and internationally from Canada, Columbia, Korea, Mexico, Poland, and Sweden.
