Donna Cox Receives Distinguished Artist Award

Professor of New Media Donna Cox will receive the Distinguished Artist Award for Lifetime Achievement in Digital Art by the Association of Computing Machinery’s Special Interest Group on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques (ACM SIGGRAPH) at its upcoming conference.

In addition, Cox will be inducted into the ACM Academy in Los Angeles. Also making an appearance at the conference will be 12 women profiled in Cox’s coedited book New Media Futures: The Rise of Women in the Digital Arts. The ACM SIGGRAPH conference will be held July 28–August 1, 2019, in Los Angeles, CA. Learn more about the conference.
