Hanako O’Leary Named a Neddy at Cornish Artist Award Finalist

Alumna Hanako O’Leary (BFA in Sculpture and Crafts: Ceramics 2011) has been selected as a finalist for the 2020 Neddy at Cornish Artist Awards, which are open to artists in the greater Puget Sound region.

In addition to receiving funding, each finalist will have work shown at the University of Washington’s Jacob Lawrence Gallery in March 2021.

Also in 2020 O’Leary earned a 2020 MAC Fellowship through the Robert B. McMillen Foundation, and her solo exhibition Yomi was featured in Seattle’s Real Change. Learn more about O’Leary and her work.
