Grief, Self, Poetry, Fiber Arts, and Performance Art.
I explore soft traumas within the family unit and what it means to exist within a family through lens-based mediums. My work uses materials, and the connotations surrounding those materials, to create layers of meaning. I am especially interested in what it means to be human, and strive to answer the question: does who we come from make a difference in who we become?
