It's My Party

Throughout her past work, she explored the world of nightlife at college. Using a film camera to create a messy and mechanical perspective, it magnifies the feeling of pure bliss surrounding the people of the night. Grace is a former music major, so she incorporates a musical stylistic approach within her work. She’s dabbled with video as well as photo, strengthening her visual arts with the coupling of music. In her more recent work, Grace expresses the grief she felt after giving up her music life. She does this by turning her journal entries into visual/audio pieces, exposing her innermost thoughts.
